Chrome extension required

This tab remotely controls the StudyTrack Headers companion extension — it can't do anything without it installed, and it only works on desktop Chrome (extensions aren't supported on mobile browsers).

Both values come from the extension's own popup — open it, click the link icon, and copy them here.

StudyTrack can only ever see profile names and on/off state, and can only toggle profiles you've explicitly allowed from inside the extension. It can never read or set header values.

Appearance

Palette
The first color is how the timer looks while it waits, the second is how it looks while it runs. The sidebar, glow and buttons all follow it.
Brightness
Pause mode always turns the app light, whatever you pick here.
Animations
Reduced turns off looping motion (sidebar waves, aurora, ripples) to save battery and keep things quiet.

Sidebar

Wave effect
A lattice of squares that swells like water: calm while you wait, quicker and warmer while the timer runs, frosty while paused. Desktop only.
Spill onto the page
Let the squares dissolve past the sidebar's edge and a soft light follow your current tab across the page.

Timer

Hold gestures
Hold the button to pause or resume, or to start from earlier. Turn off if you sometimes hold by accident — a tap always works, and P pauses from the keyboard.
Show hundredths
The small .xx next to the seconds. Off gives a calmer, centred clock.
Gesture tips
The small hints under the button disappear once you've used each gesture a few times.

Sound & feedback

Sounds
The start / stop chime, the aurora pause and resume, and the dial's ticks.
Volume

Haptics
A light buzz on phones when a hold completes and while you wind the dial.

Notifications

Updates once a minute. Browsers don't allow a notification to tick every second.

Backup

Everything is stored in your account and synced automatically across every device you sign into. Export a backup now and then anyway — it's good insurance in case anything ever goes wrong.

Reset

Permanently deletes every session and plan in your account, on every device. This can't be undone.
